Senators sign defenseman Mark Borowiecki to three-year extension
The Ottawa Senators signed defenseman Mark Borowiecki to a three-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.
Borowiecki will make $1 million this season, $1.1 million in 2015-16 and $1.2 million in the final year of the deal, according to the team.
Borowiecki, 25, played in 13 games last season, finishing the year with a -2 plus/minus ratio. He was the team's fifth round selection in the 2009 NHL Draft, and has only played 21 games in his career.
