Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said he expects left winger Ryane Clowe to be cleared for the team's first on-ice workout at training camp, according to Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger

Clowe has not played since he was concussed in a game on March 31. It was Clowe's second concussion of the season. Injuries limited him to 43 games in 2013-14. He scored seven goals and had 26 assists.

“Right now everything is on track for him to be in camp,” general manager Lou Lamoriello said. “He’s going through all the tests that he has to go through right now. At this point everything has been positive.
“There hasn’t been any setback yet. We just have to go through a few more tests. There are a lot of tests to go through. We’ll take one at a time."

The Devils signed Clowe to a five-year, $24.25 million contract prior to last season.
