Sportsnet enlists Subban, Kessel, Sharp to promote new season

Sportsnet enlisted a few stars to help promote the upcoming season where it'll serve as Canada's national broadcaster for the NHL.

The folks over at Sportsnet want to make sure you know they're Canada's new national broadcaster of the NHL, so they've whipped up a series of spots featuring some of their personalities with a few of your favorite hockey stars.

The result? Well, it's a bit of a mixed bag but you have to love the enthusiasm they're bringing to the table.

The series starts out with George Stroumboulopoulos trolling the painfully awkward Phil Kessel. Strombo, who is replacing Ron MacLean as the host of Hockey Night In Canada, is a huge Habs fan. Nice to see he's not dialing down the passion for the new gig.

In the next bit shown atop, we're reminded that Patrick Sharp is too pretty for his own good. Then we learn that P.K. Subban is resistant to change.
