Blackhawks' Patrick Sharp leaves game with injury, out for 'a bit'

The Chicago Blackhawks picked up an easy 5-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens, but not without losing Patrick Sharp to injury along the way. 

Alex Ovechkin becomes the Capitals' all-time leading scorer

Sharp was helped off ice early in the third period after being checked by defenseman Alexei Emelin. The Chicago forward immediately went down and couldn't put weight on his right knee. It was a clean hit by Emelin despite the apparent injury.

Injuries to goalies force Ducks to use goalie coach Roloson as backup

Coach Joel Quennville that Sharp will be "out for a bit," but Chicago Tribune beat reporter Chris Kuc speculated that Sharp may be sidelined for weeks:

Sharp has three goals and nine points through 13 games this season.
