The Ducks have placed forward Dany Heatley on injured reserve, the team announced Friday. 

Heatley has played in just four games this season. He was out until Oct. 28 with a groin injury. The team did not specify his current injury. 

Heatley, 33, signed a one-year deal with Anaheim this summer. He scored 28 points in 76 games last season, a career-low for a full season.

The Ducks are also without Corey Perry and Francois Beauchemin, who were recently diagnosed with the mumps. Perry skated after practice Friday but there is no timetable for his return.
