Chicago Blackhawks lead latest 2015 Stanley Cup odds

The Blackhawks are now listed as 5/1 favorites to win the Stanley Cup, according to the betting website Bovada.

Chicago is followed by the Anaheim Ducks (7/1), the Pittsburgh Penguins (9/1) the Tampa Bay Lightning (10/1) and the Montreal Canadiens (12/1).

The Blackhawks (25-11-2) have amassed more points (52) than all but one team (Anaheim, 54) in the Western Conference.

Chicago ranks fifth in the NHL in average goals scored per game (3.00) and first in average goals allowed per game (2.10).

In addition, the Blackhawks had several players -- including goaltender Corey Crawford and forward Patrick Kane -- among the leaders in the most recent All-Star voting returns.

Chicago last won the cup in 2013.

The Blackhawks host the Dallas Stars on Sunday.
