Jonathan Quick had a roller-coaster game on Saturday. He first allowed three goals on the Jets’ first three shots, but his Kings teammates bailed him out with four straight goals. Winnipeg forced overtime, but the real thrill ride came in the shootout.
Mathieu Perreault made a swift move to beat Quick. The goalie then made a spinning, last-ditch effort to rebuff the would-be goal:
The Jets went on to win in the shootout, but it was Quick who ultimately stole the show. There's still 354 days left in 2015, but it'll be hard to find a stop that tops this one.
