Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky leaves game with undisclosed injury

Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky left Wednesday's game against the Jets with a possible lower-body injury.

All-Star Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky left Wednesday's game against the Jets with an injury, meaning Columbus will have another name to add to its already long list of injured players this season.

According to Michael Arace of the Columbus Dispatch, Bobrovsky had to be helped off the ice during the Blue Jackets’ road game against the Winnipeg Jets.

The nature of the injury and its severity are still unknown, but it's never good when a player can't leave the ice on their own. Bobrovsky’s status for Sunday All-Star Game is also in jeopardy.

Bobrovsky has already been on the Blue Jackets’ injured reserve list once this season, missing two weeks after he fractured his finger in late October. The team also lost forward Jeremy Morin in the first period.
