Kane showed up to a team meeting wearing a track suit, which is a violation of team policy. Byfuglien reportedly then threw the track suit into a shower.

Now the subject of trade rumors, Kane, 23, has 10 goals and 22 points in 37 games this season for Winnipeg (26-18-9), which has lost five games in a row. The Jets still sit in seventh in the Western Conference, two points out of fifth place.

The Jets play the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.
