Stars' Jason Spezza turns Panthers' Aaron Ekblad inside-out for goal

In the final minutes of the first period in the Stars game against the Florida Panthers, Spezza scored a highlight-reel goal for his 19th of the year.

Spezza picked the puck up just outside the blue line and carried it along the board into the zone, going straight at Panthers rookie defenseman Aaron Ekblad.

Ekblad fell victim to a series of veteran moves: Spezza uses hesitation, pulls out a toe drag, cuts inside and pulls a 180 on a dime, causing the 2014 first round pick to fall to the ice, Florida forward Derek MacKenzie to whiff on the steal attempt and goalie Al Montoya to wonder what just happened.

The goal gave the Stars a 2-0 lead and Ekblad a quick reminder that there's a lot left to learn.
