Rangers' Rick Nash (neck spasms) day-to-day
New York Rangers winger Rick Nash will not play Tuesday and is day-to-day with neck spasms, the team announced.
The Rangers called up Oscar Lindberg from their AHL affiliate before the game. Kevin Hayes took Nash's spot on a line with Derick Brassard and Mats Zuccarello and Lindberg skated with Carl Hagelin and J.T. Miller.
• Islanders and defenseman Nick Leddy agree to 7-year deal
Nash has played in all 58 of the Rangers' games this season and is second in the NHL with 37 goals. He missed 17 games last season with a concussion.
The Rangers (36-16-6) are currently second in the Metropolitan Division, two points behind the New York Islanders.
