The Panthers have traded forward Tomas Fleischmann to the Ducks, the two teams announced on Saturday.

In exchange for Fleischmann, Anaheim will send Florida forward Dany Heatley and a third-round pick in the 2015 draft.

In 52 games this season, Fleischmann, 30, has recorded seven goals and 14 assists while averaging 14:51 of time on ice.

Prior to joining the Panthers, Fleischmann had stints with the Washington Capitals and Colorado Avalanche.

Heatley, 34, was waived by the Ducks in December after failing to record a point in six games.

The Panthers said that Heatley is expected to report to the AHL's San Antonio Rampage.
