Watch: Alexander Semin scores great goal from stomach for Hurricanes

Carolina Hurricanes forward Alex Semin scored a highlight-reel goal on Sunday while sliding on his stomach against the Oilers.

It's hasn't exactly been a season to remember for Carolina Hurricanes forward Alexander Semin, though he did manage to notch a goal that will be a topic of conversation for a while.

After getting tripped by Oilers forward Rob Klinkhammer, the maligned forward somehow managed to pull off this no-look goal from his stomach while falling away from the net.

It was a goal that shouldn't have found the back of the net and yet it did.

The 31-year-old has appeared in just 39 of 64 games for Carolina, missing 11 games due to injury alone. Sunday's tally, Semin's fourth of the season, was a turning point for the 'Canes in a wild 7-4 comeback win over Edmonton.
