Jaromir Jagr becomes fourth player in NHL history to record 1,800 points

Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr became the fourth player in NHL history to record 1,800 points when he recorded two points against the Bruins on Thursday. Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Gordie Howe are the others.

Jaromir Jagr has been playing hockey longer than some of his Florida Panthers teammates have been alive, but he still has moves. 

Jagr became the fourth player in NHL history to reach 1,800 career points with a two-point performance against the Boston Bruins on Thursday night, recording one assist in the second period and another in the third.

He's in good company, too. Wayne Gretzky (2,857 points), Mark Messier (1,887) and Gordie Howe (1,850) are the only other players to reach the 1,800 mark.

The Panthers are out of playoff contention but played the part of spoiler with a 4-2 win over the Bruins, who dropped to ninth in the Eastern Conference.
