Watch: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop tips puck into his own net

Lightning goalie Ben Bishop made a save against the Red Wings in Game 4, but ended up scoring on himself with the rebound.

Things haven’t been going well for Lightning goalie Ben Bishop against the Red Wings in the playoffs. In Game 1, he allowed three goals on just 14 shots. In Game 2, he allowed two goals on 20 shots. The third installment in the series wasn't much better, as he stopped 18 of 20 shots.

In Game 4 on Thursday, the his struggles continued. On a shot from Joakim Andersson, Bishop attempted to snag the puck with his catching glove, but it bounced out and up into the air. He reached back with his stick to try and knock it out of harm's way, but instead tapped it across the crease and could only watch it trickle into his own net.

The goal gave the Red Wings a 2-0 lead in the second period of Game 4 in Detroit.
