Watch: Stamkos tosses Brandon Prust's elbow pad into stands

Steven Stamkos ended a nine-game scoring drought against the Canadiens, but sent one Montreal fan home happy after he threw Brandon Prust's elbow pad into the stands.

After ending a nine-game scoring drought and keying the Lightning to a 6-2 win over the Canadiens in Game 2 of their second round series, Steven Stamkos made sure that at least one person in Montreal went home happy.

After Habs forward Brandon Prust got into a tussle with defenseman Braydon Coburn in the waning minutes of the third period, Prust tossed his elbow pad into the Lightning bench in frustration. Sensing that his foe, sent to the locker room to cool off, no longer needed the equipment for the night, Stamkos simply tossed it into the stands behind him.
