Must-See: Ducks prospect Kevin Roy scores sweet goal

Watch: Anaheim Ducks prospect Kevin Roy scores dazzling goal at development camp.

If development camp is all about making an impression, then it’s mission accomplished for Kevin Roy.

Roy, a fourth-round pick by the Ducks back in 2012, grabbed everyone’s attention during a prospect scrimmage over the weekend with this hard-angle, between-the-legs snipe.

Not that this beauty caught many by surprise. The 22-year-old forward has a history of lighting the lamp wherever he goes. He scored 54 times in 59 games for USHL Lincoln during his draft season. This year he led Northeastern with 19 goals and 44 points.

His size (he’s listed at 5' 10", 170 pounds) would have been seen as an impediment in the past, but hands like those might just earn him an NHL shot.
