Islanders' Joshua Ho-Sang sent back to OHL after late camp arrival

Friday September 18th, 2015

New York Islanders prospect Joshua Ho-Sang arrived late for the first day of training camp and was sent back to Niagara of the OHL.

Training camp notes: Maple Leafs the team to watch; trade rumors; more

Ho-Sang, 19, scored 81 points in 60 OHL games last season between Windsor and Niagara. There is no doubt about his impressive talent but there have been ongoing questions about his behavior and attitude. Arthur Staple of Newsday reports that Ho-Sang had been doing well on both fronts at team activities over the summer.

Staple also reports that Ho-Sang was slated to skate on a line with Islanders star John Tavares and Anders Lee.

The Islanders selected Ho-Sang with the 28th pick of the 2014 draft.
