The Boston Bruins have signed goalie Jonas Gustavsson.
The Boston Bruins have signed goalie Jonas Gustavsson, the team announced Saturday.
The deal is for one year and $700,000. Gustavsson spent training camp with the Bruins on a tryout.
Gustavsson was with the Detroit Red Wings from 2012–15, playing in 41 games and recording a 21–10–6 record. Before his stint in Detroit, Gustavsson played with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who signed the goalie as a free agent in 2009.
In 148 career games, Gustavsson has a 60–55–21 record with a 2.89 goals against average and .901 save percentage.

The Bruins open the season Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets.
