Watch: Sabres goalie Chad Johnson makes swiping save in overtime
Buffalo Sabres goalie Chad Johnson made an epic save in overtime on Tuesday night against the Flyers, fiercely swiping the puck out of the crease as if he was finding a no match on Tinder.
Flyers center Sam Gagner made a nice move towards the goal, moving Johnson to the right side of the net. Ganger was able to put a backhand shot on goal which looked like it could be the game-winner.
With the puck just inches away from the goal line, Johnson dropped his stick like it was hot in order to get a glove on the puck and batted it away.
Buffalo would capitalize off the momentum, as the Sabres skated down the ice on a breakaway and Zemgus Girgensons scored the game-winning goal to give Buffalo a 4–3 win.
