St. Louis Blues goalie Jake Allen made his bid for save-of-the year with some leather larceny on Chicago Blackhawks right wing Marko Dano, who had a nearly open net.

Trevor Van Riemsdyk’s dish put the puck right in Dano’s wheelhouse but the extra effort from Allen foiled their plans.

Allen’s glove stopped the puck close to goal line, which sent the play for a few extra looks from upstairs. The call stood after review determined that Dano’s shot did not cross the goal line.
