Brandon Prust is not upset with his fine for a hit on Brad Marchand.

Vancouver Canucks forward Brandon Prust is not upset with his fine for spearing Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand.

Prust was fined $5,000 Sunday for spearing Marchand in the groin on Saturday night. Prust was given a 10-minute misconduct for the penalty.

During practice Sunday, Prust said the financial penalty was the “best money [he] ever spent.”

Prust has five points in 17 games for the Canucks this season. Marchand had 13 goals and six assists for the Bruins in 23 games.
