Watch: Canadiens’ Condon goes behind-the-back for save
Canadiens goalie Mike Condon added another highlight to his reel with a ridiculous save against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday.
With the score tied in the third period Condon denied Eric Staal’s bid at a gaping net with a mix of extreme acrobatics and hand-eye coordination, swinging his shoulder around to bat the puck out of mid-air. For his efforts, Staal was left in the corner filled with disbelief.

Condon and the Habs were only able to hold off the Canes for a few minutes longer before Jeff Skinner notched the winner in a 3-2 final.
The Princeton graduate has nine wins to go with a 2.22 GAA and .913 SV% in 17 games this season, getting an extended run as the Montreal starter while Carey Pricerecovers from a lower-body injury.
