Blue Jackets G Bobrovsky out three weeks with lower-body injury
Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to miss three weeks with a lower body injury, the team announced on Wednesday.
Bobrovsky sustained the injury in Tuesday’s 3–2 overtime loss against the Los Angeles Kings. The goaltender left the game a with 5:35 left in regulation after he made a side-to-side move in front of the net.

Bobrovsky, who has missed games with a groin injury during the last two season, has recorded a 4–1–0 with a .947 save percentage in his last five starts. This season, the 27-year-old is 11–12–1 with a 2.52 goals-against average,.916 save percentage and one shutout.
Backup goalie Curtis McElhinney will take Bobrovsky’s place. McElhinney saw action on Tuesday when Bobrovsky exited early and allowed two goals on seven shots.

“He's played good, and I feel very comfortable (with him),” coach John Tortorella said on Wednesday about McElhinney. “Hell of a spot (to come into) last night. We were in our end zone the whole game. The wave had already drowned us. He got a save in his chest and that's all he needed, he made a great glove save...he has no chance on the winning goal.”
McElhinney, 32, is 0–4–1 with a 2.77 goals-against average and .905 save percentage.
