Former Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis was brought to tears by a video tribute the team played during Monday’s game against the Capitals

Dupuis, 36, was forced to retire last week due to blood clots and was honored during a stoppage in play in the first period. Dupuis, standing with his family, was brought to tears by the tribute and the standing ovation from the fans that followed.

Dupuisaddressed the media earlier Monday to discuss his decision to retire and said he would like to begin a career in coaching

Dupuis played 15 seasons in the NHL, including nine with the Penguins. He scored 109 goals and recorded 138 assists in 452 games.
