Watch: Boone Jenner levels Evgeni Malkin with knee-on-knee hit
Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner took down Penguins star Evgeni Malkin with a knee-on-knee hit on Monday night, adding to the recent nasty history between the teams.

Given the testy recent history involving the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Pittsburgh Penguins, you just knew Monday night’s matchup would feature some nastiness between the two clubs.
Midway through the second period, Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner collided with Penguins star Evgeni Malkin in a knee-on-knee hit. Though Jenner raised his arms in frustration, Malkin was sent tumbling to the ice.
The Penguins took exception to the play, and Pittsburgh rookie Scott Wilson dropped the mitts with Jenner.
Jenner was assessed a two-minute penalty and Malkin would eventually return to the game.
The Penguins went on to beat Columbus 5–2, snapping a a four-game losing streak with the victory.
