Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin reclaimed the rookie scoring lead with his 14th goal of the season during Monday’s game against the New Jersey Devils

In the first period, Larkin opened up scoring as he received a pass on a breakaway from Brad Richards. Larkin used a leg kick move to fake out Devils goalie Cory Schneider and finished with a backhand shot to give the Red Wings a 1–0 lead.

Larkin now tops the list for most goals by a rookie this season, and sits ahead of Buffalo Sabres forward Jack Eichel who has 13. The 19-year-old has recorded 26 points so far this season.
