Watch: Zach Parise earns hat trick to lift Wild over Blue Jackets
Zach Parise’s fourth career hat trick was all the Wild needed to lift themselves over the Blue Jackets 4–2 on Tuesday.
Every one of his goals was at a very high skill level, reminding the whole league of his elite goal-scoring abilities.
Parise’s second goal, which he scored 4 on 4, was probably the prettiest of the night. His maneuvers in tight next to the goalie put him in position to easily bury the shot.

The goal that secured the hat trick and the win was an empty netter. Even that tally was high level, a backhander from the neutral zone right after a takeaway. Mikael Granlund also deserves a hat tip from Tuesday’s game, as he assisted on two of Parise’s goals and scored an empty netter of his own.
