In his first game after the All-Star break, New Jersey Devils goalie Cory Schneider showed why he spent his weekend in Nashville. 

During the first period of Tuesday’s game against the the New York Rangers, Schneider came up big, making three straight saves. The goalie was able to stop shots from Rangers forward Viktor Stalberg and defenseman Dan Girardi. Schneider then faced pressure once again, as All-Star defenseman Ryan McDonagh ripped a shot toward the net, but the goalie robbed McDonagh of a goal with an impressive glove save. 

The Devils beat the Rangers 3–2, earning their 26th win of the season.
