Watch: Kings’ Lecavalier has spinning no-look assist

When the move that sent Vincent Lecavalier out west to the Los Angeles Kings was announced in January, many hockey fans scratched their heads and wondered, Why would such a smart GM like Dean Lombardi make a move for a player in his twilight?
Since the move, Lecavalier, the 35-year-old who is almost 10 years removed from a Rocket Richard Trophy, has done nothing but produce.
Lecavalier has at least 1 point in 8 of 13 games with the Kings.

In his resurgence, Lecavalier has proved that he still has skill and ability to play in hockey’s top league.
Here he is setting up a pretty pass to Marian Gaborik in Boston. Lombardi has struck gold yet again, and maybe fans should stop being surprised.
How about a spinning no-look pass? #LAKvsBOShttps://t.co/1OKNnU91Zx
