There’s a lot of question marks surrounding the Montreal Canadiens this season, many including injured goalie Carey Price, the NHL’s reigning Vezina winner and MVP.
On Wednesday in Washington, D.C., Price’s replacement Mike Condon added one more question: How did he do that?
Playing against the Eastern Conference-leading Capitals, Condon stood his ground with a number of early, including this one on forward Mike Richards.
Was it a case of being lucky or being good? Condon might argue he had the situation under control the whole time. Either way, this save is a beauty.
Entering the tilt against the Caps, Condon held a 14-17-5 record in 39 games with the Habs to go with a 2.53 GAA and .904 SV% in his rookie season.
