Jaromir Jagr records 50-point season for 20th time in career

Another day, another Jaromir Jagr milestone.
The NHL’s grand old man was at it again on Thursday, scoring off a brilliant feed from Jonathan Huberdeau in the first period of the Panthers’ 6–2 win over the Ottawa Senators.
The 44-year-old Jagr tallied his 22nd goal of the season, to go along with 28 assists. This gives him 50 points for the 20th time in his NHL career, putting him in exclusive company. The forward also leads the team in points.

Jagr added a second goal two periods later, giving him 1,853 career points.

He is now three clear of the legendary Gordie Howe for third most in NHL history. Only Mark Messier (1,887) and Wayne Gretzky (2,857) have recorded more career points.
