When you dive through the air to stop a puck from leaving the offensive zone, it only seems fitting that you get yourself some emoji-clad fans in the process.

Philadelphia Flyers rookie defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere was the main attraction in Columbus on Tuesday night, as two Flyers fans dressed up as a ghost and a bear out of sheer admiration for the 22-year old.

Their fandom and dedication was rewarded as the rookie blueliner laid out to keep the puck in the offensive zone for the Flyers and then sent it back towards the net for a scoring chance.

We can assume that Artemi Panarin is the Calder Trophy frontrunner, but until fans start showing up at Blackawks games dressed as loaves of bread, Gostisbehere gets the edge for best-dressed fans.

Despite the full-body stretch and the fanfare, the Flyers could've used a similiar effort in their own zone, as they gave up a pair of late goals and eventually fell in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets. The Flyers currently sit in the second wild card spot in the East with 83 points, two back of the Islanders with a game in hand over the Red Wings.
