The Pittsburgh Penguins are heading back to Washington D.C. with a 3-1 series lead, thanks to Patric Hornqvist.

The Penguins have won three straight games since Washington took the opener of the series. 

The Penguins forward capitalized on a turnover by defenseman Mike Weber in the Capitals’ zone in overtime, potting the winner through Braden Holtby’s legs at the 2:34 mark of the extra period for a 3–2 win.

It was the fifth goal of the postseason for Hornqvist, who leads Pittsburgh and ties the Swede for fourth in the league. He also notched an assist on Trevor Daley’s first-period tally.

The overtime victory was the first for Penguins in their last eight tries, and the first on home ice since Game 3 of their 2009 series against Washington.

Game 5 is set for Saturday at Verizon Center. Puck drop is 7:15 p.m. ET.
