Predators' Pekka Rinne Gives Up Two Goals, Removed During 1st Period of Game 7

Things are not going well for the Predators during Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals, as goalie Pekka Rinne has been removed.
Rinne was taken out in the 1st period on Thursday night after giving up two soft goals to the Jets. He was removed just over 10 minutes into the game.
IfRinnedoes not return to the game, it would be the least amount of time (10:31) any starting goalie has played in a Game 7 in NHL postseason history.
Juuse Saros replaced Rinne, who was seen sitting alone in the tunnel after being removed. This is the third time Rinne has been pulled out of a game in this series.
Coming into Thursday's game, Nashville had outscored Winnipeg 117-114 with the series tied 3-3.
Rinne is sitting in the corner all alone in the dark after getting pulled minutes into the game. Definitely the 😢moment of the playoffs so far. pic.twitter.com/tHFMS8k5d2

Game 6 was the Pekka Rinne no team in the world wants to face. This version tonight is the one your 40 and over rec team can’t wait to face. Kid more up and down this series than the El Diablo at Six Flags. #rjnow

Peter Laviolette had no choice but to yank Rinne. I'm shocked at how many people "can't believe it"

Adios Pekka Rinne. Gone to the locker room after two softies, at least for now, to look for his guts.
