Boston remains the only NHL team to not announce a plan for financially supporting its part-time arena employees. Delaware North, a hospitality and food service company, owns TD Garden. When asked about a potential plan to aid workers, the company released a statement saying it was "actively exploring support options.” The Celtics who play at the Garden, will pay their team-employed game day staff, but that doesn’t include employees hired by Delaware North.

According to the Boston Globe, hundreds of part-time ushers for Boston’s TD Garden were laid off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
