Olympic Trials: Week 2

After finishing second in the 10,000 earlier at the Olympic trials, Kara Goucher finished the 5,000 in 15 minutes, 1.02 seconds. She and teammate Shalane Flanagan will compete in both events at the Beijing Games.

Katie Hoff will have a chance to swim in six races at the Beijing Games. Medaling in each even would break the women's swimming record for most Olympic medals.

A second-place finish in the 100m fly was enough to qualify Ian Crocker for his third Olympics.
