Shawn Johnson, 16, of the U.S. flipped for gold on the balance beam Tuesday after collecting three previous silver medals. The West Des Moines, Iowa gymnast took gold in the last event of the women's competition.
Nastia Liukin of the U.S. settled for the silver behind Johnson on beam. Liukin finished with a gold, three silvers and a bronze.

Henry Cejudo gave the U.S. its first wrestling gold medal of the Olympic Games on Tuesday with a victory over Japan's Tomohiro Matsunaga in the men's 55kg freestyle.
Cejudo, a 21-year-old from Colorado Springs who is taking part in his first Olympics, had tears in his eyes as he wrapped himself in the Stars and Stripes.
