The International Olympic Committee has unveiled the medals for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro that will take place in August.

More than 2,000 medals will be presented to athletes across all Olympic sports.

The Olympic medals will be different from the Paralympic medals, which were also unveiled. Thursday marks 50 days until the start of the Opening Ceremonies in Rio.
