U.S. women’s basketball center Brittney Griner is confident she could beat DeMarcus Cousins in a one-on-one matchup, but some members of the U.S. men's basketball team aren't so sure.

Last week, Griner told USA Today that she would love to play against Cousins and even posted a photo to Instagram taunting the Sacrementio Kings center.

Cousins and other members of the U.S. men’s basketball squad have now responded to Griner's challenge.

“I’m glad she’s that confident in her abilities, but she’s also a little delusional” Cousins told ESPN.

Kevin Durant is also skeptical of Griner’s ability to beat Cousins. “I like the confidence BG, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen,” he said.

Despite the doubts from the men’s team, Griner isn’t backing down. “I mean, I’m better and I know that kind of gets at him,” Griner said.

If the matchup does happen, at least two spectators will be ready to watch. DeAndre Jordan and Carmelo Anthony both said that they would pay to see the two go head-to-head.
