Ryan Lochte and his teammates that lied about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio will face discipline from the United States Olympic Committee, CEO Scott Blackmun said Sunday.

The USOC has not announced what the punishment will be or when an official announcement will be made.

“They let down our athletes,” Blackmun said via NBC. “They let down Americans.”

After initial confusion about reports that the four swimmers had been robbed on their way to the Olympic Village after attending a party, Lochte told NBC’s Billy Bush that incident had in fact occurred.

However, after an investigation, police found that the swimmers had vandalized a gas station bathroom and were confronted by armed guards.

On Saturday, Lochte admitted to “over-exaggerating” his original story.
