The roster features Olympic veterans in three-time gold medalist Kevin Durant, two-time gold medalist LeBron James and one-time gold medalists Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo.

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, who has played for Team USA in two World Cup competitions, will play in his first Olympics. The 2024 games will also mark the first Olympic appearance for Leonard, Joel Embiid, Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton.

Team USA will be led once again by Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who plans to step down from his role with the national team after the Olympics.

Team USA is eyeing its fifth straight gold medal in men's basketball. The Americans defeated France 87–82 to win gold at the 2020 Toyko Games.
