After finishing second in the English League Championship last season, Burnley will be competing in the Premier League this year. Their leading goalscorer was Danny Ings, who finished with 21 goals on the year. They were led in assists by Kieran Trippier, who finished with 12. This will be Burnley's first time competing in the Premier League since the 2009/2010 season.

Their leading scorer was Danny Ings, who finished with 21 goals on the year. They were led in assists by Kieran Trippier, who finished with 12. This will be Burnley's first appearance in the Premier League since the 2009/10 season. 

This offseason Burnley lost four player to free transfer, but they welcome in several new faces, including striker Lukas Jutkiewicz from Middlesbrough.
