In the waning moments of the first half vs. West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, Newcastle's Ayoze Perez netted the eventual game-winner with a deft touch that was as magnificent as it was audacious.

Daryl Janmaat fired a low cross from the right side of the 18-yard-box to an approaching Perez, and the 21-year-old Spaniard did not disappoint. With his body parallel to goal, Perez cleverly flicked the ball behind him from 12 yards out with enough pace to beat West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster.

For Perez, who in his first season with the Magpies after a two-million-pound transfer from Spanish side Tenerife sent him to northeast England, it was his third goal in as many games.

With the win, Newcastle sits seventh in the EPL table with 16 points. West Brom finds itself at 13th with 13 points.
