The U.S. men's national team will play rival Mexico in a friendly this April in San Antonio, Texas, U.S. Soccer announced Wednesday.
The two teams will meet on April 15 at 8:30 p.m. ET at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The match will take place more than a year since the U.S. and Mexico last met, a 2-2 draw in Arizona in April 2014 during the lead-up to the World Cup.
The U.S. men's national team is currently holding its January camp in Carson, Calif. The Americans will play their first match of 2015 on Jan. 28 at Chile and will then return home to host Panama in Carson.
Prior to the match against Mexico, the U.S. will travel to Europe to face Denmark on March 25 and Switzerland on March 31.
Both the U.S. and Mexico reached the round of 16 of the 2014 World Cup, but both teams were eliminated 2-1 by Belgium and the Netherlands, respectively.
