Mexico national team midfielder Hector Herrera scored a fantastic goal for Porto in the Champions League round of 16 second leg vs. FC Basel.
A day after getting called back into the Mexican national team, Hector Herrera celebrated with a tremendous goal on the Champions League stage.
Herrera rifled a right-footed effort from outside the box just after halftime to provide a 3-1 aggregate buffer for Porto over Basel in their round-of-16 second leg. In doing so, he joined Chicharito as the only Mexican internationals to score in the Champions League knockout stage.
Casemiro added a stellar free kick less than 10 minutes later to all but secure Porto's place in the quarterfinals.
Porto is one of three undefeated teams in this season's Champions League along with Chelsea and Real Madrid.
