Club America was on the ropes, but the Mexican powerhouse found a way to seize control of the CONCACAF Champions League final's second leg against Montreal Impact with three quick goals in the second half.

Orbe Peralta scored the first, taking advantage of lax defending by the Impact's Nigel Reo-Coker, who failed to challenge a lofted ball into the box. As a result, Darwin Quintero was able to send a header across the face of goal, and Peralta applied the finishing touch to put America up 2-1:

Then it was time for Dario Benedetto to add his second of the game with a flying touch from close range:

Benedetto completed his hat trick with a solid strike in the 81st minute, leaving the Montreal defense hanging with a quick move and finishing well to make things 4-1 and all but bury Montreal.
