Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez buried a shot from outside the box to give the Gunners a 2–0 lead over Aston Villa in Saturday's FA Cup Final.

Sanchez assisted on Arsenal's first goal of the game at Wembley Stadium, heading a pass to Theo Walcott. Walcott's goal gave Arsenal a 1–0 lead 40 minutes into the first half.

Sanchez's strike, which he put past the extended arm of Aston Villa goalie Shay Given, came five minutes after halftime at the 50-minute mark.

Per Mertesacker later gave the Gunners a 3–0 lead on a header in the 62nd minute.
