During Solo’s one-month suspension in early 2015, Harris played the entirety of the U.S.’s friendlies against France and England, giving her the edge on the No. 2 goalkeeping spot. She recovered from two ACL tears in college to win three national championships with the University of North Carolina and also won the 2011 WPS championship with the Western New York Flash, taking Goalkeeper of the Year honors in the process.
Harris started every match of the U.S.’s 2002 FIFA Under-19 Women's World Championship win as a 16-year-old.
