USWNT's Megan Rapinoe logged her second goal of Monday's Women's World Cup opener against Australia by scoring on a crossing shot from well inside the box that put the U.S. up 3–1 en route to a victory by the same margin.

Rapinoe's first goal, which gave the U.S. a 1–0 lead, was also buried into the bottom right corner of the net when it deflected off of an Aussie defender.

Christen Press also scored for the U.S.

The Americans will take on Sweden on Friday in their second Group D match.
